- Support for multiple languages – if you can translate it, our system supports it. There is no limit to the number of languages supported (although it is important that you can answer email enquiries in the languages used in your store, as there is nothing more important to making sales than the human element).
- A wish list system that allows customers to save items in their own list. If items added to their wish lists are sold out, the system will inform them when you’ve updated the stock with the latest harvest.
- A harvest date system that allows customers to see just when the seed was gathered, so they can make informed decisions about their purchases.
- An Articles section, where you can publish your own articles. But that’s not all; if you have an article about certain plants, say tomatoes, you can use the cross-sell feature to list all the relevant varieties right under the article. This is a valuable tool that we’ve found can significantly increase sales.
- A database driven system that allows you to easily edit and manage you stock with our secure store administration tools. You can login through a secure connection to easily add and modify your products, automatically track inventory and sales, and manage your customer records and orders.
- A packaging system that allows you to automatically generate packaging for online orders, as well as for regular retail sales.
- Rapid launch – we can have your store ready for you to populate with your own information and stock details within five business days.
- Full control of seed prices, taxes, and shipping & handling rates
- A Specials system that allows you to make limited time offers, or just regular discounted prices on items you wish to promote in particular. This part of the system will then randomly select items that that you have put on special and post the information on the front page, and other information pages, of your store.
- Google, MSN and Yahoo friendly pages that help to attract visitors to your store pages. This is so much more than it might appear on the surface – the system takes the name of your seeds, the name of your business, and a number of other items unique to each seed record, and dynamically creates the needed META tags. These META tags are an important feature that help search engines rank and place your pages.
