Description:Japanese variety can be grown for tops or roots. Light green tops can be harvested in 30 days. Roots are white with tender, mild taste and are most flavorful when harvested young when the roots are 2-3 inches in diameter. Larger turnips become tough and woody. Does well in hot, dry weather.
