Origin: Italy Zone Range: 5-9 Preferred Situation: Full to semi sun; humus rich well draining soil. Harvest Date: Friday 11 January, 2008
Description: Flower clusters are intensely fragrant with dark pink and ivory individual blooms opening in sequence. Blooms from mid June to frost keep the nectar seekers happy. Nice dark pink colour on new woody tips. Drought tolerant when established. Semi evergreen in sunny sheltered spot. Easy to care for vine as I've never had to do anything with this plant other than put it in the ground and train it along the chain link fence. Goes 6 meters in all directions.
Notes: Very well rooted strikes from last year. Should establish itself very quickly. Can be planted ensitu or in a pot to grow before final seating.
Cultivation: Roots are arranged in teirs so its important keep the natural growing tendency so you must fan out each root cluster in its own soil layer when seating to maximize growth and vigour.
