Native Region: Japan
Harvest Date: Sunday 25 April, 2010
Seed count: 5-7

Description:
Sprouted seed. Limited supply and will only be shipped on Mondays and Tuesdays to reduce weekend delays. Will be shipped in cardboard boxes to ensure secure transport. All spouted seed is offered as they become available during the germination process.

Notes:
International customers (those outside Canada) please check with your govenmental sites (Department of Agriculture) and learn if you need a phytosanitary certificate or not to import.

Cultivation:
Sow upon arrival. Make sure you don't damage the roots when handling. Seedlings will need warmth and light so ensure proper care for them during the winter months. I had mine growing in 15 cm square pots under the desk lamp on the computer desk. By late April the roots were starting to come out of the container drainage holes. By early August they were 30 cm tall and rivaled the size of 2 year olds. They didn't really go into dormancy so growth isn't restricted. Any well draining medium and a dilute fertilizer feeding is best.
