Description:Big leaves on a big tree to 30 meters tall and 8 meters wide. This species grows quickly with a straight trunk with handsome bark. Leaves provide cool summer shade with its lovely green leaves where in Autumn becomes a dramatic bright yellow to orange colour. Provides nectar and pollen for many winged creatures. A local makes wonderful maple syrup from these trees.
