Description:
Aromatic culinary herb known since antiquity. Rich flavour adds taste and the dark green colour increases the appeal of soups, stews, steamed veggies, pasta, eggs, and many other dishes whether included during cooking or at the last moment. High nutrutionally in minerals and vitamins. Can be grown in containers or in the garden. Biennial.

Notes:
Hot dry climates = partial shade + supplimental water. Cool climates = full sun.

Cultivation:
Sow 7 mm deep. Can be sown dry then misted and kept moist for germination in 6-8 weeks, or soak at room temperature water for 2 days, mix with sand (for even, non clumping sowing), sow 7 mm deep for germination in 7-21 days. Never let medium dry out. If starting indoors, use deep plug trays as deep tap roots of seedlings is what makes strong vigorous large plants for lots of harvesting material over the growing season. Transplant out after frost.
