This lovely evergreen fern has triangular, lace-like fronds produced on black stalks. Grows 6 inches high and spreads at a rate of 6-8 inches a year. Makes a wonderful groundcover in the woodland garden. Drought-tolerant once established if grown in part shade.
Evergreen fern with shuttlecock-like crowns of glossy, bright green fronds to 16 inches long, which have heart-shaped bases and wavy margins. Height and spread 24 inches. Grow in humusy, rich and moist but well-drained soil, with added grit, in part shade.
