This deciduous sub-shrub has bright to mid-green lanceolate leaves that are lightly aromatic and reminiscent of mint. The purplish-pink flower spikes are produced in summer and persist into autumn, even as the leaves change to yellow and begin to drop. Height to 5 feet.
