Description:
This perennial has linear, grass-like leaves and bears spikes of purple flowerheads in autumn. The flower buds open from the top down, unlike most plants. Height 32 inches; spread 24 inches.

Cultivation:
For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. Sow seed in containers in a cold frame in autumn. Grow in light, moist, moderately-fertile soil in full sun.
