Cosmos sulphureus
Cosmos sulphureus
Native Region: Mexico
Zone Range: 04-10
Preferred Climate: Sunny
Harvest Date: Friday 15 August, 2014
Seed count: 20-25

Wispy plants produce a series of yellow to orange cosmos flowers throughout the summer and well into the autumn. These plants can grow to a meter (3 feet) in height, but usually less in most gardens. Although native to subtropical Mexico, these annual flowers will do well anywhere they get enough sun, moisture and good soil.

Sow seed in situ, or start seeds in pots in spring. Grow on in any good garden soil in full sun and good drainage. For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant.

Harvest Date: Friday 15 August, 2014
