Description:
This erect, bushy annual has lance-shaped purple-green leaves 6 inches long. In summer, the plant bears small crimson flowers in erect, plume-like terminal cymes. Height 3 feet; spread 18 inches. Good as a cut or dried flower.
Cultivation: For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. Sow seed at 20 degrees Celsius in midspring. Grow in moderately fertile, humusy moist soil in full sun. Water well during dry periods in summer.
