Description:
This classic salad-green (young foliage) or cooked vegetable has fallen by the wayside in recent years, since it is not easily cultivated in large commercial operations, but still has much to offer to the home or cottage gardener.

Notes:
Best grown as an annual, but can survive as a short term perennial.

Cultivation:
Sow where it is to grow in good garden soil in April. For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant.
