Description: This deciduous perennial has stalkless, diamond-shaped dark green leaves with 5 sunken veins. In spring, bears pure white flowers with whorls of reflexed outer sepals and 3 inner petals. Suits a moist, shady border or woodland garden. Height to 20 inches; spread 8 inches.
Notes: Seeds pretreated with a germination enhancer, & packed in peat.
Cultivation: For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. Sow seed as soon a receive it in containers in a shaded cold frame. Leaves will not typically appear till the second spring and plants may take 5-7 years to flower. Grow in moist but well-drained, humusy acidic soil in deep or part shade. Mulch annually in fall with leaf mold.
