Description:
Pyramidal evergreen conifer to 30 meters high, with long drooping shoots on older trees that resemble a tiger's tail. The bark is gray-brown, deeply fissured and peeling in scales. Bears red-purple pollen cones and brown oblong seed cones.

Cultivation:
For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. Sow seed in containers in a cold frame in spring. Grow in deep, moist but well-drained soil in full sun.
