Description:
A small to medium sized deciduous shrub that can grow fairly rapidly when given favourable conditions. The velvet covered pale green leaves are attractive in their own right, but it is the large pale mauve flowers, produced abundantly in early summer, that really steal the show. Height to 15 feet; spread to 8 feet.

Cultivation:
For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant.Sow seed with gentle bottom heat, 15-18°C (59-64°F) in spring. Grow in moderately-fertile well-drained soil in full sun.
