Slow-growing evergreen perennial with kidney-shaped green leaves with 3 ovate lobes. Bears small blue flowers in early spring. Height and spread 4-6 inches.

For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. Sow seed in an open frame as soon as ripe. Grow in humus-rich moist but well-drained neutral to alkaline soil in part shade. Top-dress annually with leaf mold or compost in fall or in late spring following flowering.
