This deep-rooting perennial has airy, finely-cut anise-flavoured leaves and bears tiny yelllow flowers in summer, followed by aromatic seeds. The leaves and seeds are used in cooking.
For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. Sow seed at 13-18 degrees Celsius in spring in situ and thin to space 18 inches aparts. Grow in fertile moist but well-drained soil in full sun. Remove stems before they shed their seeds.
