This bushy deciduous shrub has arching shoots and pinnate leaves and bears small creamy yellow flowers in panicles in spring, followed by glossy round red fruit. Height and spread is 10 feet.
For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. Sow seed in containers in an open frame in autumn. If seeds are stored to be planted the following spring, then warm stratification (70F – 85F) is required for 60-90 days followed by 90-100 days of cold stratification (41F) before sowing in the spring. Grow in moderately-fertile, humusy moist soil in full sun or partial shade.
