Centaurea cyanus |
Native Region: Northern temperate regions Zone Range: 02-09 Preferred Climate: Sunny Harvest Date: Monday 08 September, 2008 Seed count: 30-40
Description: This wonderful annual flower, that sometimes can behave like a biennial, is perfect for the wild garden, or for a cutting garden. Plants grow from 30cm-1m (1-3ft) in height.
Cultivation: For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. Sow seeds in spring in situ, or in peat pots or other biodegradable containers - these plants do not appreciate root disturbance, and it's a good idea to use containers that can be placed directly in the planting holes. Grow in well-drained soil in full sun.
