This upright, rounded deciduous tree has very large obovate light-green leaves up to several feet long, which have silvery undersides. Bears cup-shaped white flowers in summer. Height and spread is 30 feet.

For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. Sow seed in a seedbed in the fall. Grow in moist, well-drained humusy acidic to neutral soil in full sun to part shade.
