Description:
This erect perennial has lance-shaped, slightly hairy leaves and bears 6-inch flowerheads with conical, orange-brown disks and white ray florets. Height to 4 feet.

Notes:
Open pollinated in the Alma VanDusen Meadow, these seeds should produce a range of interesting variants. Selected from white parent plants. This is the plant that is the source of so many herbal cold and flu preparations.

Cultivation:
Sow seeds in containers in the spring for best results, although seed may be scattered where it is to grow. Grow in deep, well-drained humusy soil in full sun. For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant.
