Preferred Climate: Alpine
Harvest Date: Tuesday 16 August, 2016

A perennial alpine species of Gentian that has neatly arranged leaves that show off the incredible blue flowers to best effect. 8-16 inches tall; 10 inches wide.

For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. Sow seed in containers in a cold frame as soon as your seed order arrives. Use container mix of 2 parts compost to 1 part coarse horticultural sand. Cover seed lightly with horticultural sand. Do not exclude light as this aids germination, which can take around six weeks. Grow on in soil that is well drained in a rock garden or alpine scree.
