For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. Sow seed in containers in a cold frame as soon as your seed order arrives. Use container mix of 2 parts compost to 1 part coarse horticultural sand. Cover seed lightly with horticultural sand. Do not exclude light as this aids germination, which can take around six weeks. Grow on in soil that is well drained in a rock garden or alpine scree.
