This perennial bears pinkish-purple 5-petaled flowers well above palmate leaves. Leaves and stems are covered with with sticky glands noticeable to the touch. Grows in meadows near the edge of forests. Height 1-3 feet.
Sow seed in containers in late spring, being sure to maintain even moisture during the summer in the first year. Grow on in humus rich soil that does not dry out excessively in the summer. For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant.
