Description:
This bushy deciduous shrub has erect branches and oblong green leaves. Bears cymes of star-shaped yellow flowers in spring, followed by red berries that ripen to black. Height and spread is 3 feet.

Notes:
The genus Hypericum is now in the family Hypericaceae.

Cultivation:
For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. Sow seed in containers in a cold frame in autumn. Grow in moderately-fertile moist but well-drained soil in sun or part shade.
