Description:
Lavandula stoechas has the classic scent of common lavender, Lavandula angustifolia, but produces flower spikes with some additional purple bracts, which appear almost as if butterflies have come to rest on them.
Notes:
These seeds have been collected from a number of forms, including 'Otto Quast' and are likely to produce offspring with many of the features of the parent source.
Cultivation:
For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. Sow seed in containers in autumn or spring. Maintain even, but not excessive, moisture. Grow on in any good garden soil. Hardy to -5°C (25°F), although leaves may be severely damaged by exposure to sun during freezing weather.
