Description: Red purple stems with almost steel blue leaves and the elegant single flowers you see in the picture, make this one of the most desirable species roses for the garden. The flowers are followed by orange-red hips in fall. Height 6 feet; spread 5 feet.
Cultivation: Sow seed in containers in autumn or spring. Maintain even, but not excessive, moisture until the seedlings are large enough to transplant. Grow on in any good, well drained, garden soil. For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant.
