Description:
Spreading, small deciduous tree with minutely-toothed green leaves that turn yellow in autumn. Clusters of pendent, bell-shaped white flowers appear in late spring before the leaves emerge. Height and spread 25 feet. Suits a woodland garden.

Cultivation: Sow seed at 14-25 degrees Celsius in containers in autumn. Move the containers to a cold frame after 60 days. Grow in fertile, humusy moist but well-drained, neutral to acidic soil in sun or partial shade.
