Description:
This erect perennial bears numerous long-stalked fluffy lilac flowers in midsummer. The foliage is also attractive. Makes a good plant for the back of the border in a woodland garden. Height 4 feet.

Cultivation:
Sow seed in containers in a cold frame as soon as ripe or in early spring. Grow in moist, humusy soil in partial shade. Divide every three years to maintain vigor.
