Description: Erect thick-stemmed biennial or short-lived perennial, often grown as an annual. Daisy-like flowerheads with pale yellow ray florets and conical centers of deep brown disk florets are produced from summer to early fall. Height to 36 inches.
Notes: Open pollinated in the Alma VanDusen Meadow, these Rudbeckia seeds should show considerable variation.
Cultivation: Sow seed in early spring/late winter in containers in a coldframe. Grow on in any moderately fertile well drained garden soil. For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant.
