Description: Growing up to 1m (3ft) high, this variable perennial species is native across most of the North American continent. Narrow flower spikes of intense red flowers are produced throughout the summer and into the fall.
Notes: This seed was collected from plants with a range of flower colours and with leaf colour ranging from green to dark bronze.
Cultivation: For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. Sow seed in containers of sterilized seed starting medium in spring. Use of gentle bottom heat will assist with germination. Grow on in any good very well drained soil.
