Description:
Evergreen conifer with flattened needles with silvery white bands beneath and pendent leading shoots. Produces small ovoid female cones that are pendent. Height to 80 feet.

This conifer is threatened by habitat loss in China.
Cultivation:
For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. Sow seed in containers in a cold frame in spring. Grow in humusy, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or part shade.
