Description:
Evergreen conifer with flattened needles with silvery white bands beneath and pendent leading shoots. Produces small, pendent ovoid female cones. Height to 80 feet.

Notes:
This conifer is threatened by habitat loss in China.

Cultivation:
For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. Sow seed in containers in a cold frame in spring. Grow in humusy, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or part shade.
