Preferred Climate: Warm temperate to tropical
Harvest Date: Tuesday 22 September, 2009
Seed count: 25-30

Description:
This herbaceous to woody stemmed annual can grow to as much as 1.5m (5ft) in height, but most cultivated strains reach only 1m (3ft) in height. The compound leaves are composed of five to seven bright green leaflets, to 12x4cm (5x2in).

Notes:
These seeds were collected from primarily white flowered plants.

Cultivation:
For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. Sow seed in containers in the spring when you would normally start tomatoes or other tender annual plants, using a soil-less seed compost. Cover with perlite or vermiculite and place under protection at 21 degrees Celsius. Plant out when night temperatures do not drop much below 10ºC (50ºF). Grow on in neutral to acidic sandy soil with good drainage. Must be grown in full sun for flowers to develop in temperate regions.

Harvest Date: Tuesday 22 September, 2009
