Description: Variable rosette-forming evergreen or semi-evergreen perennial with oblong-ovate green leaves to 8 inches long. Produces umbels of 3-15 salverform, fragrant, deep yellow flowers in early spring. Flowers are small (1/2 to 1 inch across). The plant has a height and spread of 10 inches.
Cultivation: For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. Sow in spring into pots using standard soil-less seed compost, either peat or peat substitute. Cover with perlite or vermiculite, place in a cold frame or under protection at 15 degrees Celsius. Germination takes 3-4 weeks cold or 14-21 days with warmth. Grow in full sun or partial shade in mild coastal areas. Provide a moderately-fertile, moist but well-drained humus-rich soil.
