Description:
This erect, thorny deciduous shrub in the family Leguminosae has light green pinnate leaves and bears pale yellow flowers in late spring. Height to 20 feet; spread 12 feet.

Pre-soak spring-sown seed in warm water. Grow in well-drained, moderately-fertile soil in full sun. Tolerates poor, dry soils in cold and exposed positions.
