Description: Deciduous perennial grass that spreads slowly to form mounds of arching linear leaves. The leaves are bright yellow with narrow green stripes, and are flushed with red in autumn. Height and spread is 16 inches.
Cultivation: Sow seed in containers in a cold frame in spring. Grow in fertile, humusy, moist but well-drained soil in part shade. Divide in spring.
