Description: Rosette-forming perennial that bears cyclamen-like flowers on arching stems in spring. The reddish-pink flower petals are sharply reflexed, displaying long, pointed styles. The plant goes dormant after flowering, and suits a woodland or rock garden.
Cultivation: Sow seed in containers in an open frame as soon as ripe. The seed may require exposure to cold in order to germinate. Grow in moist but well-drained, humusy soil in sun or part shade. Provide moisture during the growing season. Established plants can be divided in spring.
