For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. Sow seed early in the year in a cold frame and stratify for a month at 3°Celsius if sowing after February. Prick out the seedlings when they are large enough to handle and grow on in a cold frame. Plant them outdoors in their permanent positions in late spring of the following year. Grow in moist, well-drained loamy soil in sun or part shade.
