Description:
Bulbous perennial with strap-like green basal leaves which whither prior to flowering. In summer, bears umbels up to 4 inches across of pink star-shaped flowers. Height is 5-6 feet.

Cultivation:
Sow seed in containers in a cold frame in spring. Grow in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun.
