Columnar to conical deciduous tree with pale gray bark. This tree has lance-shaped glossy dark green leaves that turn orange and red in autumn. In midsummer, cup-shaped white flowers with creamy filaments are borne singly or in pairs. Height 15-20 feet; spread 6-8 feet.
