This low-growing evergreen shrub has pinnate green leaves with up to seven wavy-margined, toothed leaflets and bears yellow flowers in spring followed by round, blue-black berries. Leaves take on bronze tints in cold weather. Height 12 inches;spread 3 feet. A good drought-tolerant ground cover.
For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. Sow seed outdoors in containers in fall or as soon as ripe. Grow in moderately-fertile, moist but well-drained soil in part to full shade.
