Description:
This clump-forming perennial has ovate, toothed basal green leaves and bears solitary yellow daisy-like flowerheads on slender stems from midspring to early summer. Suits a perennial border or woodland garden. Makes a good cutting flower. Height 12-24 inches; spread 12 inches.
Notes: The genus Doronicum is now in the family Compositae.
Cultivation: For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. Sow seed in containers in a cold frame in early spring. Grow in moist, fertile humusy soil in light, dappled shade.
