Description:
This herbaceous to woody stemmed annual can grow to 3-5 feet in height. The compound leaves have five to seven bright green leaflets. The flowers, produced in loose clusters at the top of the stems, come in shades of purple, pink or white.
Notes: These seeds were collected from white and pink flowered plants. This plant is now in the family Cleomaceae.
Cultivation: For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. Sow seed in containers in the spring when you would normally start tender annual plants. Plant out when night temperatures do not drop much below 10ºC. Grow on in neutral to acidic sandy soil with good drainage in full sun.
