Description:
This perennial has finely divided, pinnate light green leaves and bears pale purple bell-shaped flowers in spring. Flowers are followed by spherical, silvery seed-heads. 8 inch height and spread.
Cultivation: For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. Sow seed as soon as ripe in containers in an open frame. Germination usually takes two to four weeks, but can take as long as 6 months. Grow in fertile, very well-drained soil in full sun. Pulsatillas do not like to have their roots disturbed, so plant when small in an appropriate location and leave undisturbed.
