Description:
This upright deciduous shrub has mid-green leaves that turn orange to purple-red in fall. White summer flowers are followed by black shiny fruit that persists well into the winter. Bare branches festooned with the black berries are attractive in fall and winter flower arrangements.Height 6'/spread 10'.
Cultivation: For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. Sow seed in fall into pots and place in a coldframe. If spring sown, soak seed in clean water, place in pots and refrigerate for 6-8 weeks. Move pots to a coldframe to germinate. Grow in well-drained, moderately fertile soil in sun to part shade.
