Description:
This Western North American native was a favourite in Victorian temperate gardens around the world, and is slowly being rediscovered for its simple elegance. This upright deciduous shrub bears tubular pinkish-red flowers in pendent racemes in spring, followed by blue-black fruit. 6 foot height/spread.
Cultivation: For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. Sow seed in containers in autumn or spring. Maintain even, but not excessive, moisture until the seedlings are large enough to transplant. Grow on in any good, well drained, garden soil.
