Description:
Vigorous deciduous shrub with pinnate leaves. Bears yellow flowers in racemes to 5 inches long, followed by green seed pods that later turn translucent. Height/spread 10 feet. The genus Colutea is now in the family Leguminosae.
Cultivation: For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. Sow seed in containers in a cold frame in autumn or spring. Grow in moderately-fertile, well-drained soil in full sun.
