Geranium wallichianum |
Native Region: North-east Afghanistan to Kashmir Zone Range: 04-08 Preferred Climate: Cool to warm temperate Harvest Date: Sunday 02 October, 2022 Seed count: 12-15
Description:
This little geranium tends to to mound nicely unless crowded, then it will scramble through other taller perennials and grasses, but since the trailing stems do not root readily, it's easy to control. This seed was collected from variable selections of the species, so colours will vary from blue with a white eye to pale mauve. 12 inches high with a spread of up to 4 feet.
Cultivation: Sow seed in containers in late spring, be sure to maintain even moisture during the summer in the first year. Grow on in humus rich soil that does not dry out excessively in the summer. For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant.
