For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. Best sown as soon as it is ripe in a cold frame. Plant out into their permanent positions in late spring or early summer.Grow in well-drained, moderately fertile soil in full sun to light, dappled shade. Soil should remain consistently moist. The plant benefits from shallow mulching in spring. Division is best done in August/September after flowering but can also be done in April.
