Description:
This drought-tolerant perennial sage has aromatic gray-green leaves and bears tubular magenta flowers which are attractive to bees and butterflies. Height and spread is 3-4 feet.
Cultivation: For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. Sow in containers in a cold frame or greenhouse in spring, or direct-sow after the last frost. Germinates faster at 15-20 degrees Celsiur. Grow in moderately-fertile humusy soil in full sun. Can be cut back to a woody framework in late winter.
