Description:
This spreading perennial has heart-shaped dark-green leaves, pointed at the tips. It bears flowers whose petals are yellow on both sides, with the exception of dark purple nectar guides on the front of the lower three petals. Found in moist forests or along streams. 8 inches tall and 12 inches wide.
Cultivation: For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. Sow seed in containers in a cold frame in spring. Grow in fertile, humusy moist but well-drained soil in full sun or part shade.
